A day in Firenze

Luckly, the sun is still shining out in the sky.
So, the last weekend, I spent a marvelous day in Firenze.

Il sole splende ancora, nonostante sia utunno inoltrato. Fortunatamente aggiungerei, in quanto mi ha permesso di passare una splendida giornata a Firenze lo scorso finesettimana.

We took in the sights every corner of the city.
After arriving at the station o the same name, we started from the church of Santa Maria Novella, in wich we could admire Masaccio's Trinity.
Then, we moved toward Santa Maria del Fiore catherdal and we went up Brunelleschi's dome, from where we could see the whole city from above.
After the catherdal, we've been on Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge), where you can find a lot of goldmith's shops.
From the bridge, we head toward Pitti Palace ad, we finally visited Santa Croce church with its illustrous tombs.
After having spent some cultural time, we relaxed while having a walk around the town and some window shopping,

L'abbiamo girata in lungo e in largo, visitando tutto ciò che fosse visitabile.
Siamo arrivati alla stazione di Santa Maria Novella e abbiamo visitato l'omonima chiesa, in cui abbiamo potuto ammirare la Trinità del Masaccio.
Dopo, siamo passati alla basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore e siamo saliti sulla cupola del Brunelleschi, dalla quale abbiamo visto tutta la città dall'alto.
Dalla basilica siamo passati al Ponte Vecchio, con le sue botteghe di artigianato orafo.
Da lì, ci siamo mossi verso il Palazzo Pitti e, infine, abbiamo visitato Santa Croce, con i suoi illustri "sepolcri".
Fatto questo giro culturale, ci siamo concenssi una pausa più "frivola", passeggiando e girando per vari negozi.

The only thing that disappointed me was the endless queue at the Uffizi Gallery, which prevented us to see some art masterpieces, but I don't give up on hope, this is a reason to come back and visit again this city.

Ah, Firenze, what a lovely city.

L'unica pecca è che non siamo riusciti a visitare la Galleria degli Uffizi, ma questo è un buon motivo per tornarci.

Ah, che splendida città, Firenze.

Freedom pt. 2

So, I'm mosting something new after a month! And ther are photos as well! OMG!! Obviously the reasons of my absence are almost always the same: exams and no connection. I can proudly say to have get rid of them, at least for now.
As a matter of facts, having caught up all the exams, I'm free some more day before the classes start and I want to spend this spare time doing almost whatever comes to my mind.
Therefore I went shopping, but the only thing I've found has been this Looney Tunes shopper by H&M.

Alloooora, finalmente torno a postare dopo un altro mese di assenza. Ovviamente le motivazioni sono sempre le stesse: studio e connessione assente. Posso dire, però di essermi liberato (almeno per ora) di entrambe.
Infatti, avendo finalmente dato l'ultimo esame arretrato, sono, ancora per qualche giorno, libero e ho deciso di passare queste giornate un po' come capita.
Quindi ho fatto un giro per i negozi, ma l'unica cosa che mi ha colpito è stata questa shopper dei Looney Tunes presa da H&M.

Then, after having spent the morning in the city center, my frineds and I decided to go to the Mostra d'Oltremare gardens, to enjoy a relaxing afternoon.

Poi, dopo aver passato una mattinata in centro, i miei amici ed io siamo andati ai giardini della Mostra d'Oltremare e goderci un pomeriggio di totale relax.

In the end, I suggest you to visit the Mostra gardens, if you are in Napoli, in the quarter of Fuorigrotta, and you want to enjoy a day out in the park. They will be open til the 31st of december.

Detto ciò, vi consiglio di fare un giro alla Mostra se vi trovate a Fuorigrotta e avete voglia di prati e ampi spazi, dato che fino al 31 dicembre è aperta al pubblico.

I can finally cross out an element from my wishlist: I bought a parka.

Finalmente posso spuntare un elemento dalla mia wishlist: ho comprato un parka.

Ma il parka non è il solo elemento che spunterò dalla lista, C'è di più!
Signori e signore ecco a voi *rullo di tamburi* Il grande Gatsby!!
 

The only glitch is that I'm still reading Anna Karenina, thing that seems will last for a really looong time.

L'unico inconveniente è che devo prima terminare la lettura di Anna Karenina, il chè mi terrà impegnato per molto, ma mooolto tempo.

Anyway, the post title is not only referred to the new outfit and to the splendid parka(♥), but also to the new graphics.

Sincerely I was bored of the old graphics and it seemed to be a bit messy. Now I've also made the header, I did a good job, I guess.

Furthermore I also changed the blog title in order to make it more personal.

I've chosen L'Armadio because it includes, partially at least, the essence of what this blog is for me: a collection of experiences, looks and things that may represent me.

Comunque il titolo del post non si riferisce solo al nuovo outfit e allo splendido parka (♥), ma alla nuova veste grafica del blog.
Sinceramente m'ero un po' stufato della grafica precendete e la trovavo anche alquanto dispersiva.Ora c'ho aggiunto anche l'header e, a dirla tutta, sono molto soddisfatto del mio lavoro!
Inoltre ho anche cambiato il titolo, l'ho reso più personale.
Ho scelto L'Armadio perchè ritengo che racchiuda, almeno in parte, l'essenza di questo blog: una collezione di esperienze, outfit e oggetti, che mi rappresentano, in un certo senso.
